Today we will visit: the St. (Haghia) Sophia, which was built by the Emperor Justinian. It was the largest building in the world for over 1000 years. See its intricate mosaics and huge central dome. (St Sophia is closed on Monday) Continue to the Topkapi palace, which was used by the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries. We will also see the impressive collection of priceless jewels, crystal, silver and porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and relics of the prophet Mohammed. (Entrance to the Harem is extra). After lunch we will see the Blue Mosque, built for Sultan Ahmet I, which is a unique piece of architecture with its six minarets and features 20,000 beautiful Iznik tiles. Visit the ancient Hippodrome with Obelisk of Theodosius, Snake Pillar and German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Walk through the back streets of Old Istanbul and visit the elegant little Sokullu Pasa mosque and the hidden underground Theodosian Cistern (Or instead of the last two a visit to the Suleymaniye Mosque may be made). See the Grand Covered Bazaar. This tour may be done all or partially as a walking tour. End of the tour transfer back to hotel.

Bosphorus - Two Continents Tour (Full Day)

CITY WALLS

The first breach of the walls was by the FOURTH CRUSADE in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of SULTAN MEHMET THE CONQUEROR in 1453.

DRIVE BY BUS TO GOLDEN HORN

As a natural and extremely secure harbor the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. The inlet separates the European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long, and the widest part is the enterance from the Bosphorus. Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end

SPICE BAZAAR(Egyptian Bazaar)

The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other concievable herb and spice.

BOSPHORUS ON BOAT

A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway seperating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace.

RUMELI FORTRESS (From the sea)

The biggest castle of Istanbul can be seen clearly during our Bosphorus Cruise.

End of the bosphorus tour you will be transfered to your hotel. Bosphorus Tour will be end.

Full Day Ephesus Tour

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Selcuk to visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis. One of the seven ancient wonders of the world. Then on to visit Ephesus Ancient City, the best preserved Greco-Roman city in the world. Here you will explore the Agora, Odeon, Curettes Street, public toilets, Celsius Library, Hadrian Temple, Roman Baths, Grand Theatre, Marble Street. After a lunch break, depart for the House of Virgin Mary and visit the chapel where she is said to have spent her last days. End of the tour transfer to hotel.

Selcuk – Pamukkale – Antalya

Departure is from your hotel, in the morning and you will see the Cotton Clifts. Pamukkale is an extraordinary natural wonder. The calceus waters rise from the ground at a temperature of 35 C and tumple down the mountain from a height of 100 meters, forming a myriad of pools. Cream-colored stalactites are formed as the water over flows from the pools, creating a breathtaking sight unequalled in the world. Also you will visit the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis with its basilica, theatre, Roman Bath and Necropolis. After the tour transfer, bus station bus for Antalya ( 4 hours ) Arrival and Transfer to hotel. Check in.

Side-Perge-Aspendos-Kursunlu Waterfall – Antalya

Full day trip to well-known Pamphilian Cities. Perge was Roman Province, Stadium (seating 12.000), Bath and Colonaded Street. In Aspendos, you can see the Roman Theatre built in the second century that seats 15.000. Side is one of the best classical sites in Turkey with Apollon Temple, ancient ruins and two sandy beaches. About 14 km North-east of Antalya and 1 km North of Aksu is Kur-thorn;unlu waterfall , a shady park set in a pine forest with a waterfall and pool.It-rsquo;s a good place to get away from the noise and activity of Rush city life.
